15-year-old Farrah from East Lothian will compete with her horse King Cotton Legacy (PJ) later this month in the Elementary level category for the Under 25 team.

Farrah said, “It feels amazing to be selected as this is my first time on a pure dressage team. My horse, PJ is so hard working and it’s a great achievement for both of us. It will be a great experience and I’m looking forward to meeting new people and riding in such a big atmosphere.”

Farrah, who joined Strathallan last summer, has previously represented Scotland in Eventing at the U18 BE100 level in both 2021 and 2022.

Farrah, who has been riding since she was 4 years-old, added, “I joined Strathallan last September and have loved every minute of it! The school has always been so supportive of my riding. It feels amazing to get to represent Scotland again. I am so lucky to have a horse that is so adaptable and talented in so many areas of the sport and really owe it to him!”

The Youth Home Nations (sponsored by Harry Clarke Holdings Ltd) takes place at Sparsholt College in Hampshire, between the 28th to 30th July.

Strathallan’s Equestrian team has had an unstoppable season so far. Four pupils have recently earned a place on the prestigious Scottish U18 BE100 team after soaring to success at International Horse Trials earlier this year.
