Strathallan swimmers put on stellar performance at SNAGs

Eight Strathallan School swimmers competed at the Scottish National Age-Group Championships (SNAGs) in Aberdeen, bringing home 41 new personal bests and 22 medals.

Eight Strathallan School pupils took part in SNAGs last week, competing in 57 races, reaching 36 finals, landing 41 new PBs and taking home 22 medals as well as 12 National Champion titles.

Director of Swimming at Strathallan, Elaine Johnston, said, “I’m incredibly proud of all our swimmers. They all performed so well and learned lots from their events. Special mention goes to our youngest swimmer, Finlay B on winning his first national open and Scottish Age Group championship titles.”

“For our swim team to come away with 41 new PBs and 22 medals is quite a huge achievement and they should all be proud of their efforts in the pool. They represented the school and their clubs, Perth City Swim Club and Dundee Aquatics, excellently over the 5 days.”
