What a fantastic year it has been on the court.
The stand-out performance of the year was our Senior Boy's team's 3rd place finish at the LTA National Championships. Having played four matches to qualify for the finals, the team defeated Sevenoaks, Merchiston, and Millfield at the finals to steal 3rd place. The same team also finished as Scottish Schools Cup finalists earlier in the year.
1. LTA Youth Schools National Championships: @StrathallanSchl have finished 3rd, after beating Millfield School 4-2 today!! The team couldnât have had it much tougher, facing 3 out of the top 4 ranked teams in the UK, but it is an incredible effort from the team to finish 3rd!! pic.twitter.com/VLWkICaGoe

Across U12, U15, U16 and U18 categories our Girls have picked up titles at inter-school tournaments both locally and regionally, putting in brilliant performances on the court.
Tennis: Congratulationâs to our U16 & U18 teams today, bringing home the silverware from the Kilgraston Tournament. With all couples topping their groups, which included teams from Kilgraston, Dollar, Morrisonâs, St Georgeâs, Loretto & Fettes - well done girls, you smashed it! ð pic.twitter.com/2rRCUbIFOF

Individually, we’ve had Scottish champions in singles and both in boys' and girls' doubles. And we've also seen fantastic representation at Scottish, county and district levels, with lots of tournament wins for our pupils competing up and down the UK.
Tennis: Congratulations to Jed M, the new Scottish U16 Junior National singles champion! ð A dominant display throughout the competition, losing just 13 games on his way to the title - impressive! ð Very well done Jed! #ScottishChamp #StrathTennis pic.twitter.com/11kCa6RXPz

And of course, another nomination for the Tennis Scotland School of the Year was a huge plus. Given that we won this prestigious award in 2022, it was great to see our pupil-focused programme and the efforts of our students and staff recognised by our governing body.
We are excited to announce that our @StrathallanSchl tennis programme has been shortlisted in the @tennisscotland School of the Year Award category for achievements in 2022! ð A tremendous recognition of our staff and pupils who continue to work so hard. ð #StrathTennis ð¾ð´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ð¾ https://t.co/PRCgiF4Ym1 pic.twitter.com/LsosXAtDUs

Overall, our teams have all performed incredibly well this year, from our Prep School pupils to Sixth Form students aiming to go pro. I am very proud of all of their efforts. Looking ahead to next year, we are looking to expand our programme, so it really is an exciting time for tennis at Strathallan.

Tennis: The very best of luck to @simpson_house pupil Marcus M as he heads out to Tunisia to compete in the M15 Monastir Tournament. This will be Marcusâ first taste of professional menâs tennis and what is hopefully a really positive experience. #JustTheStart ð¾ #StrathTennis ð¾ pic.twitter.com/Bxj6seJ9Lp
