Scottish Schools Equestrian Championships 2025

On Sunday 16th March, Strathallan School hosted the Scottish Schools Equestrian Championships at Howe Equestrian, welcoming riders from 20 different schools and over 200 entries throughout the day.

Congratulations to all the competitors who took part!

Strathallan School Equestrian team achieved excellent results, with several individuals and teams qualifying for the NSEA Championships.

🏆 Showjumping Success

  • Team Victories: Strathallan School won both the 90cm and 1m Showjumping Team titles.
  • Individual Champion: Lucy B claimed the 1.10m Individual title.

  • National Championship Qualification (90-95cm): Pippa M, Emily S, Pebbles W, and Farrah C won their team event, while Pebbles W and Tino finished 2nd individually.
  • National Championship Qualification (1m-1.05m): Olivia secured 2nd place individually, with the team of Pebbles W, Lucy B, Farrah C, and Emily S finishing 1st, and another Strathallan team of Pebbles W, Farrah C, Olivia, and Pippa M securing 2nd place.

🏇 Dressage Achievements

  • The Dressage Team of Scarlett, Ruby, and Farrah finished 3rd, with Scarlett earning the top Strathallan score of the day.

🎖️ 80-85cm Competition

  • Grace M and her new pony, Caro Roxy, finished 6th individually in the largest class of the day, with her team placing 3rd.
