This prestigious event, organised by Pentathlon GB, will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March 2025 at the University of Bath.
Over 1,000 competitors from Year 3 to Year 13 across the UK were invited to qualify, and Strathallan's Henry G, Charlotte W, Thomas L-P, Raffy M, and Findlay B, all ranked at the top of their respective age groups to secure their highly-competitive spots for the finals.
The excitement is building as they prepare to race in two months’ time.
Thomas L-P said, “It’s very exciting. The race was tough, but we all did really well. I’m looking forward to travelling for the competition.”
Findlay B, who recently helped his district running club win the XC Inter-Challenge, added, “It feels great to qualify for my first biathlon event, and I’ve been swimming and running for five years now. I’m excited to compete alongside my teammates in March and represent Strathallan down in England."
Head of Prep School Sport, April Wardlaw, praised the team, saying, “We are beyond proud of our biathletes and thrilled to see them competing at this level. Qualifying for the finals is a tremendous achievement and a testament to their hard work and dedication. We can’t wait to see how they get on in Bath!”
