Sophie, who broke 8 school records whilst at Strathallan, will compete with the Scottish Athletics U20 team against their Welsh hosts, England U18s, England U20, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland U20, and Welsh Schools.
Sophie said, “I am delighted to be selected for the Scottish sprint team. After a challenging few years of injuries, it's good to know my training has paid off. I can’t wait to join the team in Cardiff.”
Taking Silver in the 200m at the U20 Scottish National Outdoor Championships last weekend, Sophie has a fantastic track record both on the field and in the classroom.
After landing 2 A’s at Advanced Higher and A at Higher in English, Sophie has confirmed her place to study Economics at the University of Bath. She is one of four Strathallan Leavers heading to the prestigious university this year after record results.
