Senior Strathallan students triumph in Mathématiques sans Frontières Competition

Ten talented senior students secure the top spot in prestigious international mathematics competition.

Organized annually by the Académie de Strasbourg in collaboration with the Scottish Mathematical Council, this event attracted participation from 30+ schools this year.

In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, our teams 'No Inglis' clinched the coveted first place in the Senior Competition by just one mark, while ‘Paul’s Baddies’ achieved a commendable joint 7th position alongside Glasgow Academy’s 'Mathemachickens' in the Junior category.

Mathématiques sans Frontières not only challenges mathematical abilities but also promotes proficiency in a foreign language and fosters teamwork among participants.

Congratulations to ‘No Ingils’ teammates: Aubrey K, Charlie M, Colin S, Fergus T, Francesco M, Gia K, Louis C, Mini L, Paul W, and Saba P for their outstanding performance.

The team's triumph builds upon recent achievements by Strathallan students in junior UK Mathematics Trust competitions.
