The pair, who normally compete in British Eventing at BE100, qualified for the Intermediate 95cm class at the British Showjumping Academy camp earlier this year.

Mischa said, “It’s so exciting to have been selected to represent Scotland at the Championships and I hope that my horse, Rebel, and I will do the team proud.

“This is the first time we’ve done pure show jumping together. It has been an amazing experience for both of us and I’ve already learned a lot.”

Mischa, who has been riding since she was six years old, joined Strathallan in 2021 on a Music Scholarship.

She added, “The school has really supported my riding and recognised the time I need to dedicate to it. They have helped me balance my studies with my sport and that gives me the ability to focus on my riding.”

The British Showjumping National Championships takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire between Monday 7th and Wednesday 9th August 2023.

It has been a successful summer for Strathallan's Equestrian team with five students selected for the BE100 Scottish squad and Farrah C has been chosen to represent Scotland at the Youth Home Nations this summer after being selected for the British Dressage Scotland Team.
