The pair, who played together in Strathallan's 1st XV, will join the team set to face England in the opening round of Under-20 Six Nations on Friday 4th February, with Callum on the bench and Andy as a travelling reserve.
Callum, who first picked up a rugby ball when he was 5 years old, said he was still in shock after the announcement.
He said, “It’s a massive honour to be picked for the squad being able to perform on such a massive stage feels amazing. I can’t wait to go up against some of the best young players in Europe with my family and friends watching.”
Andy, former Captain of Rugby at Strathallan, said, “It’s a huge honour to get the opportunity to represent Scotland. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and making friends and family proud.”
Andrew Henderson, Director of Rugby at Strathallan, said. “I’m incredibly proud of Andy and Callum getting called up for the Under-20 team. They are both brilliant players and have worked very hard to get where they are today. They are a great example to other students.”
The pair will join fellow Strathallians; Zander Fagerson, Matt Fagerson and Jamie Ritchie as they represent Scotland in the Guinness Six Nations series.
