Strathallan students land top marks in LAMDA

After the 56 pupils achieved Distinction in LAMDA Speech and Drama exams last year, this year’s performances have landed Strathallan students with top marks.

At Gold Medal level, four senior students achieved Distinction across the range of LAMDA exams: Chloe McM for Acting and Reading for Performance, Magnus M for The Speaking of Verse and Prose, Ethan W for Speaking in Public and Max M for Speaking in Public.

A group of Ruthven boys in Upper Sixth who had never taken LAMDA exams before, took Bronze Medal Speaking in Public, for which they all achieved Distinction: Nicholas N, Kevin M, Elliot H, Tim A, and Murray O who achieved 96%

Eve B and Gleb J likewise achieved Distinction for Bronze and Madi S took Silver for Speaking in Public.

Isabella D C T achieved a high mark for Silver Medal acting and Fifth Formers Sophie D and Tara G-R gained Distinction for Bronze Medal Acting while Francesco M R obtained Bronze in Speaking in Public. Callum P and Michael N achieved Merit for Bronze Speaking in Public.
