Strathallan qualify two teams for National Showjumping Finals

Our School riders have achieved a fantastic set of results at the recent Scottish Schools’ Equestrian Championship.

The event was held at Highfield, at the Howe Equestrian Centre, where there was success for Rowan L, Amelia E, Flora W and Brook W,  who won the 90cm and 1m classes. It means they qualify for both finals at the NSEA National Championship at Keysoe in October. Riding two different ponies, Brook W has qualified individually for both the 80cm and 1m classes.

In the Dressage event, the team of Rowan L, Amelia E, Flora W and Brook W came second, with Ella E achieving an individual second place.

It’s the second year Strathallan has qualified for the NSEA Championship, but having two teams through this year is extra special.

Equestrian Teams Co-ordinator, Julie Summersgill, said:

“I am thrilled with the results and very proud of all the team members, who gave excellent performances at the Schools’ Championship. We now look forward to the National Championship Finals in October.”
